How It Happened
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lebanon Valley was dropped by Lycoming in the MAC Commonwealth Play-In Game by a 14-4 margin on Tuesday night. The Dutchmen's season ended at 5-11 while the Warriors will take on No. 1 Messiah in the Semifinal Round on Wednesday.

After Lycoming jumped out to an early 2-0 advantage, Lebanon Valley's Emily Federowicz netted her ninth of the season to cut into the Warriors lead at 27:22. The home team got one back at 17:15 on an up goal, but Makenzie Kelley found the back of the net at 16:12 to keep pace with the Warriors. From there, Lyco ended the half scoring four straight goals in just 4:14 to take a 7-2 lead heading into the second half.

The Warriors scored two consecutive goals to begin the second half to increase their lead to 9-2 before Emma Jones scored her team-leading 41st goal of the season to make it 9-3. The Warriors continued to pour it on, however, and scored five more goals. Jones scored again with 3:52 to go, but it wasn't enough as Lycoming held on for the 14-4 win.
