Five Dutchmen Honored As MAC XC All-Century

MAC All-Century Teams

ANNVILLE, Pa.
- Five Dutchmen have been honored with spots on the Middle Atlantic Conference's All-Century Cross Country teams.

On the men's side, Dick Williams '68 and Jeff Koegel '95 have been named to the 1912-1974 and 1993-2002 teams, respectively. For the women, Lisa Frey and Kelly Stewart are on the 1993-2002 team and Jenn Cronin '11 is on the 2003-2011 squad.

Teams were voted on by fans during the fall semester. The teams are broken into four eras spanning the 100-year history of the MAC, which was established in 1912.

Williams, a 2009 inductee to the LVC Athletic Hall of Fame, was a three-time team MVP who twice placed top-10 at MAC Championships.  Koegel was the 1994 MAC champion and three-time top-five finisher. He placed 36th at the 1994 NCAA Championships as a senior.

Frey and Stewart both recorded a pair of top-five finishes at MACs, with Frey doing so in 1994 and 1995 and Stewart 1999 and 2000. Cronin graduated as the women's program's most accomplished runner, winning the NCAA Mideast Regional meet in 2009, twice qualifying for nationals, and medaling twice at MAC Championships.
