Lebanon Valley 4, Penn State 3 - OT

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Cole Bell scored one of three Dutchmen goals in regulation and went on to score the game winner in an overtime shootout in Lebanon Valley's first game of the season at Penn State Friday night.

Freshmen John Hagy and Gaige VanDezande scored regulation goals for their first collegiate points, and James Murray had a second half shutout to keep the Lions (3-1) at bay and force overtime.

"I will obviously take the win against a very good Penn State team," head coach Don Parsons said. "We have a lot to learn, but we are on our way."

LVC (1-0) plays at West Chester Sunday at 12:45 p.m.
