ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College men's basketball will host a Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Game on Jan. 28 when they host Lycoming at 4 p.m.
The team is working with the Gamma Sigma Sigma sorority to raise awareness for sudden cardiac arrest, which is a leading cause of death in the United States and can effect athletes of all ages. The team and Gamma Sigma Sigma hope to raise awareness of SCA and educate fans on the use of automated external defibrillators to save the lives of those in cardiac arrest.
All donations from the game will benefit the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association. Fans will able to purchase t-shirts for $12 or buy a paper heart for the "Heart Wall" for $1. A raffle will also be held.
