Sean Fakete are ECAC All-Star picks as announced by the organization.
Guiles, Colletts, and Homer were first-team ECAC all-star selections, while Fakete was named a second-teamer.
Guiles - the first ECAC player of the year in program history - was also named the Middle Atlantic Conference's offensive player of the year as he ran for 1,226 yards and 19 touchdowns as a senior. The d3football.com all-American became LVC's all-time leading rusher by averaging 6.4 yards per carry with eight 100-yard games, including a season-high 208 yards against Wilkes. A versatile threat, Guiles also caught three touchdown passes with 243 yards receiving. He ranked fifth in NCAA Division III in scoring with 12 points per game and 24th in rushing at 111.5 yards per game.
Colletts was a first-team all-MAC selection in his first year starting at center. He was one of just two Dutchmen linemen to start all 11 games, helping LVC average 200 rushing yards per game and 4.7 yards per rush while allowing only 14 sacks in 11 games, the second-fewest in the MAC.
Homer was also a d3football.com all-American, earning ECAC South-West Bowl Most Outstanding Player and first-team all-Middle Atlantic Conference accolades after ranking second in the league with 108 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and 20.5 tackles for loss in 2011. His best game came on senior day against King's when had a school-record 5.5 sacks, and he followed that up with an 11-tackle, 3.0-sack performance against Saint Vincent in the ECAC Bowl. He had seven 10+ tackle games during the year.
Fakete proved to be a reliable kicker as a sophomore for the Dutchmen, setting a single-season record with 41 PATs in 2011. Hebooted seven field goals while averaging 55.0 yards per kick-off, and he scored 62 total points. He set a single-game record with 13 kicking points (two field goals and seven PATs) against Stevenson in Week 4.
