Drazin, Heintzelman, and Scott Named MAC Scholar-Athletes Of the Year

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Seniors Rich Drazin (men's lacrosse), Shayna Heintzelman (women's tennis), and Andrew Scott (track & field) have been awarded the Middle Atlantic Conference's highest honor, each being named the Scholar-Athlete of the Year in their respective sports.

The trio will receive their awards during a luncheon at Alvernia University on May 3. They are each the first in their respective programs to receive the honor, and it is the first time in school history that three student-athletes in the same season have earned the award.

Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards are given to one outstanding senior from among the 16 member institutions in each MAC-sponsored sport. Candidates are chosen on their combined athletic and academic achievement.
