ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley College ice hockey Head Coach Tony Horacek has announced the hiring of Spiros Anastas as assistant coach.

A native of Mississauga, Ontario, Anastas is a 2010 graduate of the Valley, receiving degrees in economics, business administration and accounting. While at LVC, he was a four-year captain and member of the ice hockey team, totaling four goals and three assists. Anastas was also a three-year member of the ECAC West All-Academic Team. Missing most of the 2009-2010 season due to injury, Anastas served as a student coach.

The Dutchmen open the 2010-2011 season on October 8, with a 7 p.m. contest at Muhlenberg.
