USTFCCCA Regional Preseason Cross Country Rankings
ANNVILLE, Pa. - For the first time in program history, the Lebanon Valley College women's cross country team has earned a preseason regional ranking of #10 in the Mideast by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
No team in the nation made a bigger leap into the rankings than the Dutchmen, who finished 27th at regionals last year but vaulted into the top 10 along with conference rival Elizabethtown (5th) and five Centennial Conference schools, headed by Johns Hopkins in the top spot.
Led by returning all-MAC harriers
Jenn Cronin and
Megan Long, the LVC women return nine runners overall and bring in a talented freshman class. Cronin, a senior, was LVC's first-ever NCAA qualifier in 2009 after winning the Mideast regional to be named the USTFCCCA Regional Runner of the Year. Long, also a senior, picked up first-team all-MAC honors with a ninth-place finish at the conference championships.
