ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College has been picked second in the Middle Atlantic Conference preseason coaches' poll, the highest showing by the Dutchmen under head coach
Jim Monos' tenure.
Coming off a record-setting 9-2 campaign that included LVC's first postseason appearance in 58 years, the Dutchmen return 15 starters, including pre-season all-America right tackle
Jason Sneeringer and defensive end
Zach Bleiler.
Defending MAC champion Delaware Valley College was picked first with six place votes and 47 points overall, ahead of LVC, which received two first-place nods and 41 points. The 2009 MAC runner-up Albright, which earned an at-large NCAA bid, is third at 37 points, with Wilkes and Lycoming tied for fourth with 27 points. Widener (24 pts), FDU-Florham (11 pts), and King's (10 pts) round out the poll, in that order.
In addition to releasing the preseason poll, the MAC also released its
