ANNVILLE, Pa. - Senior defensive tackle
Zach Bleiler has been tabbed a preseason second-team all-American by Consensus Draft Services.
The 6'5", 272-pound senior defensive end was a 2009 first-team all-region pick by d3football.com, and was also a first-team all-MAC selection after recording 59 tackles from his spot on the defensive line. In 11 games, Bleiler racked up 15.0 tackles for a loss with 10.5 sacks; he led a run defense that allowed just 98.4 yards per game and 2.9 yards per carry.
Lebanon Valley (9-2 in 2009) opens Sept. 4 against Gettysburg at Arnold Field.
