2010 All-CC Teams

ANNVILLE, Pa. - Senior leftfielder Grant Wiest has been named Second-Team All-Commonwealth Conference, the conference office announced Thursday.

Wiest, also a second-team pick in 2009, led the Dutchmen (22-14 overall) in nearly every offensive category in 2010. He hit a team-best .394 in 30 starts, racking up 43 hits and driving in 40 runs while slugging .550. The team MVP homered twice and had 11 extra-base hits in all as he scored 23 runs himself.

Wiest was a clutch hitter for the Dutchmen, going 5-for-5 with the bases loaded, 13-of-16 with a man on third, and 24-for-49 with runners in scoring position.

In left, he committed just two errors and had two outfield assists. Wiest also made three appearances on the mound, throwing 3.2 innings of work in total.
