Andrea Hoover was named Player of the Year, head coach
Todd Goclowski earned Coach of the Year honors and
Suzie Noyes earned First Team accolades as the All-Commonweath Conference teams were announced Monday afternoon.
This is the second-straight year Hoover and Noyes were named to the all-conference teams. Widener's Lil Carney was tabbed Rookie of the Year.
Joining Hoover and Noyes on the first team was Carney, Messiah's Julie Henninger and Albright's Jessica McGinness. The second team consisted of Kelli McIntyre and Alex Velazquez of Alvernia, Messiah's Dori Gyori, Widener's Casey Pritz and Elizabethtown's Megan Strohman.
Hoover, who is LVC's first-ever conference player of the year, led the league with 5.41 assists per game and a 1.55 assist to turnover ratio, while ranking in the top-10 in scoring, free throw percentage, steals and minutes played in the Commonwealth Conference. She averages 12.1 points per game, and has received Player of the Week honors from the conference on two occasions. Hoover led LVC to its second Commonwealth Conference regular season title, and set a career-high with 26 points against Messiah in the conference championship game.
Noyes averages 12.4 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per contest and leads the team with 33 blocks. She leads the conference in free throw percentage, while ranking in the top 15 in scoring, rebounding, field goal percentage, steals and blocked shots.
Goclowski led Lebanon Valley to the Commonwealth Conference regular season title after posting a 12-2 record, and third-straight appearance in the conference championship game. In his fourth season with the Dutchmen, Goclowski holds a 71-36 overall record.
The Dutchmen hold a 23-4 overall record and finished with a 12-2 record in the Commonwealth Conference. LVC received an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament and will make its first appearance on Friday, March 1 against Medaille at Marymount University in Arlington, Va.
