NEW ORLEANS - Junior Jenn Cronin has added another honor to her already impressive list of accolades from the 2009 cross country season, being named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team on Thursday.

Cronin, a Spanish and History major who is currently studying abroad in Spain, was named the USTFCCCA Mid-East Regional Runner Of the Year after winning the NCAA regional meet in the fall. The All-Academic award honors student-athletes who have a minimum 3.3 GPA and finish in the top 35 in their respective NCAA regional meets.

Cronin became LVC's first female NCAA qualifier with the regional win, and earlier had repeated as the MAC bronze medalist to earn first-team all-MAC honors.
