ANNVILLE, Pa. - Junior Andrea Hoover scored 13 of her 15 points in the second half to lead #18/19 Lebanon Valley to the Commonwealth Conference regular-season title with a 70-62 win over Elizabethtown Tuesday evening at LVC Gymnasium.

With the win, the Dutchmen (22-2, 12-1 CC) clinched the top seed in next week's CC playoffs, doing so for just the second time in program history and first since 2001-02.

The game was LVC's third-annual PinkZone game, drawing a record crowd of 1,545, the largest home crowd in LVC women's basketball history. All proceeds benefited the Lebanon Chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Junior Suzie Noyes also posted 15 points and classmate Eryn Schultz notched a team-high 16 points, including five three-pointers.

Lebanon Valley held the lead all but once in the first half, and hit an eight point lead just over three minutes into the game. Elizabethtown kept it close, but a clutch three-pointer by Eryn Schultz with five seconds left in the half put LVC up by five.

The Dutchmen regained control at the start of the second half, tallying their biggest lead of 12 points at 15:26 off a layup by Andrea Hoover. Elizabethtown began a comeback shortly after and pulled within two points twice. With under four minutes to play and LVC's lead at two points, Hoover took control, scoring seven points and drawing four fouls. The Dutchmen continued to roll in the final minutes, recording an eight point victory.

Suzie Noyes posted a team-best eight rebounds and two blocks, along with going perfect from the free-throw line with nine made. Andrea Hoover had four assists and made 9-of-11 free throws, while Eryn Schultz added a game-high four steals.

LVC concludes the regular season at Alvernia on Saturday, Feb. 20 with the game set to begin at 1 p.m. With the regular season title and top seed clinched, the Dutchmen will host a Commonwealth Conference semifinal on Wednesday, Feb. 24. Opponent and game time are to be determined.
