GENESEO, N.Y. - Three different freshmen had a goal and an assist for Lebanon Valley College on the road against SUNY-Geneseo, but it wasn't enough to combat a 49-shot barrage from the Blue Knights who prevailed, 8-4.

Daniel Dempsey, William Brown, and Rory Wilkowich all had busy days for the Flying Dutchmen with a goal and a helper. George Nicholes had the other goal for LVC.

Nicholes' goal came in the second period, stopping a Geneseo run which had the Knights out to a 3-0 lead. Dempsey came up with the assist on the goal.

Geneseo bounced back with a pair of goals in less than a minute just after the halfway point of the game to take a 5-1 lead into the third period.

Wilkowich scored his third goal of the season at the 5:51 mark of the final frame, converting on assists from Brown and Matt Becker. The Knights answered 2:14 later on Dan Brown's second goal of the game, to retake a four-goal lead.

Dempsey found the back of the net for the second time this season at 14:51 from Brad Surdam and Nicholas Schultz, but again Geneseo answered, with Kaz Iwamoto's second of the game. William Brown scored for LVC at 17:25 on the power play from Wilkowich to close out the scoring for the Flying Dutchmen.

Rich Drazin made 41 saves in the loss.
