ANNVILLE, Pa.
- Lebanon Valley College won both the men's and women's team titles at the 2010 LVC Indoor Invitational at the Arnold Sports Center on Saturday.

The women dominated the meet with 163 team points, ahead of Catholic at 126 points; the men scored 92 points to also best Catholic at 67 points.

Allix Sanders set a program indoor record in the seldom-run 300, winning in 45.28 to best the time of 47.17 set by Emily Allison in 2006.

For the men, Alex Talarico won the men's 3000 in 9:35.92 to move to fifth on LVC's top-10 list, and Patrick Tierney was eighth in 10:12.90. Nick D'Angelo added to a good day for distance runners to win the mile in 4:46.06, also fifth at LVC.

Bryan Phanthavong made a late surge to win the 55-hurdles by three-hundreths of a second in 8.24, and the men's 4x200 relay won in 1:41.50.

In the field, Caleb Wiley jumped 40-5 to win the triple, leading an LVC sweep of the top three spots along with Justin Lee (39-10 3/4) and Erik Brandt (39-0 3/4). Andrew Scott threw 45-5 3/4 to win the shot put

For the women, Johanna Walker and Sanders went 1-2 in the 55-meter dash, with Walker finishing in 7.62 and Sanders a PR of 7.77, and Walker also won the 55 hurdles in 9.12, with Meggy Mclean finishing third in 10.18. The women won both relays, taking the 4x200 in 1:54.13 and 4x400 in 4:33.56.

Megan Long ran a 2:28.71 to win the 800, and followed that with a 5:32.55 win in the mile, a personal best and the second-fastest indoor mile in LVC history.

In the women's field events, Sarah Fenning won the high jump with a 4-8 leap, and Ashley Weaver cleared 10-0 - a new ASC collegiate record - to win the pole vault to lead an LVC sweep of the top four places with Tracy Fortugno (9-0), Alisha Farrell (9-0), and Valarie Schramm (8-0) behind her.

Other top-10 finishes for LVC:

- Matt Nesmith and D'Angelo were second and fourth in the 800, finishing in 2:08.18 and 2:13.17, respectively.
- Lee finished sixth in an incredibly close 55-meter dash that had the top four finshers, led by York's Thomas Kentouris, finishing within two-hundreths of a second of each other.
- Phanthavong (5-6), William Gardner (5-4), and Wiley (5-0) finished fifth through seventh in the high jump.
- Brandt was fifth in the long jump at 19-7 1/4, and Wes Rockwell (8th, 18-1 1/2), Gardner (9th, 17-11 1/4), and Lee (10th, 17-10) also placed.
- Bo Beall was 10th in the shot put at 33-3 3/4.
- Amanda Pone finished fourth in the 3,000, running a 13:09.47.
- Miranda Klinger was third in the 500-meter dash in 1:28.87.
- Fenning added a fourth-place 14-0 in the long jump and a second-place 33-3 1/2 in the triple jump. Farrell was third in the triple, and Schramm was fourth in 27-11 1/4.
- Steph Derk and Farrell finished 4-5 in the shot put with throws of 31-6 1/2 and 30-7, respectively, and Maurissa Laudeman was seventh with a 26-5 toss. Laudeman was fifth in the weight throw at 24-2 1/4, and Nahed Kahlil was sixth in 23-5 1/2.
