GLENSIDE, Pa.
- Dan Dunkelberger and Grant Becker each had 20 points and Sean MacIntosh poured in 19 to lead Lebanon Valley past Arcadia, 78-75, snapping LVC's eight-game losing streak with an important Commonwealth Conference win.

The Dutchmen (7-12, 3-5 CC) swept the season series from the Knights (6-12, 0-8 CC) thanks to the trio of big scorers. Jason Thompson led all players with 27 points for Arcadia, and Khalief Trawick scored 19 off the bench.

LVC shot an outstanding 50.9 percent from the floor and went 18-for-24 at the line, but still had to hold off a late Arcadia surge in the final seconds to win.

Dunkelberger and Becker were both a record short of double-doubles at 20 points and nine rebounds, and MacIntosh drained four three-pointers en route to his 19 points. Joe Meehan added nine points and five assists.

The back-and-forth game as 12 ties and 14 lead changes, but LVC finally wrested control when Dunkelberger sank a pair of go-ahead free throws with 3:03 left. Becker added a layup moments later to go up three, and foul shots by MacIntosh and Cameron Prince later put the Dutchmen up a seemingly safe five points with just 16 seconds left.

But Arcadia caught a glimmer of hope when Thompson drilled a three-pointer with nine seconds remaining to make it a 77-75 game, and after inbounding, MacIntosh was fouled and made just one shot to give Arcadia a chance to tie at the buzzer.

The Knights never get a shot off, however, and a relieved LVC walked out with their first win in nine games.
